Trip Overview
The Langtang Valley Trek is a hidden gem just north of Kathmandu, nestled close to the Tibetan border. Once devastated by the 2015 earthquake, the region has since been beautifully rebuilt and reopened for trekkers. This itinerary not only lets you experience the pristine beauty and warm hospitality of the Langtang region but also includes a wildlife adventure in Chitwan National Park and a full heritage tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO sites.
Beginning with a cultural exploration in Kathmandu, you’ll then drive to Syabrubesi, the trailhead of the Langtang trek. The trail leads through lush forests, alpine meadows, and authentic Tamang villages to Kyanjin Gompa, the spiritual heart of the valley. Optional hikes to Cherko Ri or Langshisha Kharka offer epic Himalayan panoramas.
After the trek, you’ll travel to Chitwan for two days of wildlife activities—safari rides, canoeing, and cultural shows—before flying back to Kathmandu for a final heritage tour and farewell dinner.
